I going to guess that we're supposed to "introduce ourselves to the class" here, so hello! My name is Alice Rottersman and I hope I did this right.

Wonderful! Thanks Alice. Yes, I would love it if we could all post a little something about ourselves; maybe books we've recently read or some thoughts about blogging. Any suggestions?

Hi! My name's Emily and since there's 209384209374 emily's in this school, most people call me Emily Lohr. I play lacrosse and it's pretty much the best sport on this earth. Hopefully I'll play in college. I didn't read a lot of books this summer...Just The Last Lecture and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. This was my second time reading HP, but it's so good that I couldn't resist.

Hey. I'm Leah. I'm a junior. I guess I'm another person who enjoys sports - I play soccer, hockey, and I row. I read a lot this summer but I can't really remember specific titles... one book I read was called "A Certain Slant of Light."
